A brief history of everything...

  • 2012

    Everyone starts somewhere

    Digital Tree Media is founded as a partnership between friends producing content for YouTube and Ustream.

  • 2013

    Our first contract

    Following the success of the pilots we sign Bury Council as a client and continue to produce their full Council Meetings.

  • 2014

    DTM acquires CubeCraft Games

    The acquisition of CubeCraft Games allowed Digital Tree Media to become a multi-skilled media company now able to provide tradition video production, new media solutions, and multimedia experiences.

  • 2015

    Our new in-house studios

    We decided to build some studios to meet our internal and client requirements. This allowed us to create regularly scheduled live streams and have a home for any remote feeds coming in from events.

  • 2016

    Time to present

    We were invited out to Minecon in Anaheim, CA to talk about how we use Minecraft as a game engine to bring awesome experiences to our communities.

  • 2017

    Time for IP

    We've been using IP and IT based broadcast infrastructure since our first project. As part of our exhibition of CubeCraft Games we had 48 computers networked all being switched and streamed in HD to the internet.
